They have taken the excellent voice quality of some of their most popular battery operated clocks and had it installed in this attractive AM/FM electric clock radio. It offers many of the features that you have become accustomed to in smaller talking clocks: the option of an hourly announcement of the time, a choice of 3 alarm sounds (cuckoo, beep, rooster) followed by the radio coming on, a snooze function and voice reinforcement of the settings. In addition, it is an excellent AM/FM radio, has large 1.5 inch digital black numbers with a green backlight for night viewing. The clock can operate on 2 AAA batteries, not included or electric power (adapter included). When listening to the radio, it must be plugged in.
