Jill Verbick believes, “that I see the world differently than most.” Having developed a neurological condition called chronic myofascial pain disorder, without glasses, the world is a blur for her.
“I feel compelled to paint what I see.” She has always been an artist. I sometimes use a magnifying glass to capture the subtle nuances of each subject.” Where her portraits once floated on swirling ambiguous backgrounds, they now are nestled among pattern and symbols and are surrounded by flowers and birds.
