Events & Trips

The Badger Association coordinates group outings to allow people with vision loss to try something new and meet new people.

There are two ways to sign up for events.

  1. Check the box for each event you would like to attend. Enter in your name and email address and click the Sign Up button. You must still bring your payment to the receptionist prier to the event.
  2. Contact the receptionist at 414-258-9200 and sign up for the events you would like to attend.

Payment received confirms that you are registered for the event.

Note: Unless otherwise indicated, payment/registration deadline for each event is no later than one week before the event!

Bingo and More!

Saturday Night Bingo

The Badger Association’s Life Skills program hosts Bingo once a month at 6:30 pm. Cost to play is $2, to be used for prizes.




Join Us For Dinner!

Each month the Life Skills program coordinates dinner out at one of Milwaukee’s popular restaurants. Transportation is available from the Badger Association for $3, departing at 5:00 pm. Dinner is at 5:30 pm. Registration deadline is one week prior to each dinner.

Take a trip to the unique Elm Grove yarn retailer. Each attendee will participate in a short class and receive complimentary knitting needles to use at home or to use in the Badger Association’s own knitting class – Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:30 am. Please join us!

The Ceramics Class participants, volunteers and friends are sponsoring their 2nd annual social with food, drinks, fun and a little trivia and prizes! Come out and learn what the Ceramics LEAP class is all about. (Note: the Ceramics class meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Badger Association)

This event is held in gratitude to all of those who help with the Life Skills Program. Join us for a warm winter celebration and enjoy dinner, music and relaxation! Do you play an instrument or sing? If so, bring your musical talents to share during our winter get together. Continue to enjoy the fun after 5:00 pm with bingo.

Learn about the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra through a hands-on overview of the instruments the musicians use. Follow up the experience by enjoying a wonderful performance by the orchestra. Transportation provided by the Badger Association

Enjoy a tour of the Sprecher brewhouse, aging cellar, bottling line and gift shop. The tour will be led by one of Sprecher’s friendly guides and concludes in an indoor beer tent where samples are served, questions are answered and trivia contests ensue! Enjoy samples of beer (or soda) and receive a beer tasting glass to take home. Transportation provided from the Badger Association.
