Communication tasks such as reading and writing are essential at home, school, work and in the community. Being able to perform these tasks as independently as possible not only increases efficiency but also enhances a person’s self esteem.

Our communications specialist teaches modified techniques for reading and writing including:

  •  Handwriting
  •  Tape recording
  •  Telephone dialing techniques
  •  Touch typing
  •  Braille I & II
  •  Portable braille note takers and other adaptive devices
  •  Transcription resources
