The Badger Association is offering two programs for people living with changing vision:
Changing Vision: Meeting the Challenge
Our ongoing monthly group for individuals living with changing vision, their family and friends.
- Network with others living with changing vision.
- Learn about strategies and resources for successful living.
When?: Every third Friday of the month, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Getting Around
Individuals living with changing vision can feel isolated and fear traveling in their own homes, communities and unfamiliar environments. These individuals can also be at higher risk for falls.
- Learn the basics about getting around safely with changing vision.
- Increase safety and confidence.
- Explore the possibilities of more advanced training.
When?: Every second Friday of the month, 10:30 am to 12:00 pm

How to Manage Life with Changing Vision, Five Week Short Course
For individuals experiencing changing vision due to macular degeneration, glaucoma or other eye conditions. The course will focus on strategies and techniques for successfully living with changing vision.
This group provides an opportunity for mutual emotional support and an exchange of coping skills while addressing change, adjustment to vision loss, and self advocacy. It will provide information on community resources and present options to help participants determine how to best meet their needs.
When?: Five consecutive Fridays, 9:00 am to 10:30 am
